2017 prometia ser el año de la música en nuestro idioma por el exito alcanzado de "Despacito" avalado por otras canciones tambien en español que tuvieron repercucion en el mercado anglo caso de J. Balvin, Enrique Iglesias, Cnco y un largo etcetera. Sin embargo ante la publicacion de las listas de recuento de este año, no paso de ser una moda de verano, como muestra es que la abanderada de este "fenomeno" "Despacito" no se consagro como cancion del año ni en Estados Unidos, ni en Inglaterra algo que si consigio "La Macarena" por lo menos en el primero de los paises nombrados. Esto quizas se pueda deber a que toda la publicidad que vendian 2017 como el año de la música en español solo han tenido repercusion en YouTube, no asi en las plataformas de trasmicion como iTunes, Spotify y otras, lamentablemente el trafico de internet referente a música solo es el 2% siendo la radio el medio de mayor difusión y fuente de los nuevos lanzamientos, aqui no tuvo la difusión esperada, algo como lo ocurrido con Justin Bieber que le costo 5 años ingresar a la programacion radial y ser tomado en serio y no como un fenomeno internet, por lo que podria tomas otra decada poder tener en el top anual mas de una canción interpretada por artista latinos en nuestro idioma.
